Production Support & Platform Engineer / Application SRE – Integration & Project Management - FinTech - $120,000-$180,000 CAD + Bonus

Client : FinTech

Salary : $120,000-$180,000 CAD + Bonus

Location : Montreal / Hybrid

The role :

Our client is seeking a talented individual with a broad skillset to perform a unique role, bridging the gap between Production and Infrastructure environments, and managing projects in the integration space within a fast-paced, dynamic trading environment.

Responsibilities :

• Coordinate and manage enterprise-level rollouts and migrations of infrastructure and applications.
• Serve as a key liaison between various teams for cross-team integration projects.
• Manage stakeholders and their expectations effectively.
• Develop scripting and automation for project tracking dashboards.

Candidate profile :

This role suits individuals from various backgrounds, including :

• Production / Integration Engineers with some project management experience.
• Infrastructure / Application SREs with a good understanding of trade flow and project management skills.
• Individuals who have advanced to management within production support, integration, or infrastructure roles, with project management experience.
• A combination of the above skills, provided there is a solid understanding of trading and trade flow, along with project coordination experience.

Core technical skills required :

• Good understanding of Linux.
• Scripting in Python and Bash.
• Experience in coordinating projects.
• Understanding of trade flow and trading processes.
