Job summary

The Record Jacket Corporation in Toronto is seeking a reliable Production Support team member to assist in our fast-paced production environment on the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3pm–11pm). You will help transport materials, support press setup, monitor runs, and aid packaging to keep production flowing safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in warehouse or production, strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and good teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or production environment.
• Familiarity with folding/gluing machines is an asset.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to staging areas and assist with press setup as directed by operators
• Load and unload materials efficiently and accurately
• Monitor press runs, inspecting products for defects and removing scrap promptly
• Pack finished goods into boxes in correct quantities and label accurately
• Move pallets safely and quickly to support production workflow
• Record job production data and maintain accurate documentation
• Adapt between press helper and packaging associate roles as needed
• Follow operator instructions and maintain a clean, safe work area
• Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a cooperative work environment

Record Jacket Corporation (RJC) is a print-finishing company that services the vinyl record industry located in the west-end of Toronto. RJC is the print division of North America’s leading vinyl pressing plant Precision Record Pressing (https://www.precisionpressing.com/). We are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Support team member to assist in our fast-paced production environment. This role is essential to maintaining smooth workflow by transporting materials, assisting with press setup, monitoring quality during runs, and supporting packaging operations. The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the flexibility to move between press helper and packaging duties as needed. Working closely with machine operators and other team members, you will play a key role in ensuring that production goals are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

This position is for our 2nd shift, which runs Monday to Friday 3pm to 11pm.

Responsibilities

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
• Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materials
• Regular lifting, pushing, or pulling of up to 40 lbs
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to assist with press adjustments and material handling
• Good eyesight and color recognition for quality inspections
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, noisy production environment with proper protective equipment

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or production environment preferred
• Familiarity with folding/gluing machines considered an asset
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product quality
• Strong communication skills and a proven team-oriented attitude
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Physically fit and able to meet the demands of a busy production setting
