Job description

As a Production Supervisor, your mission will be to optimally manage human and material resources, ensuring exceptional quality standards, guaranteeing employee safety, and ensuring production meets the highest standards.

Your work schedule will be flexible, with the possibility of working different shifts, allowing optimal adaptation to the team and production needs.

Your main responsibilities will include :

• Team Management – Oversee and supervise a team of 35 to 45 employees.
• Safety – Ensure the safety of your shift and enforce safety policies.
• Production Quality – Ensure compliance with specifications, procedures, and standards to maintain high-quality production.
• Team Engagement – Implement the company’s vision and motivate your team to maintain and improve performance and production efficiency. Develop employees’ autonomy and skills.
• Priority Management – Identify shift priorities and follow up with support departments to address needs.
• Communication – Lead team meetings to share objectives and priorities at the start of shifts, as well as during daily rounds.
• Coordination – Coordinate the activities of all plant departments.
• Continuous Improvement – Promote continuous improvement to optimize productivity and quickly address issues on the production floor.
• Relations and Collective Agreement Management – Maintain positive relationships with your team while enforcing the terms of the collective agreement.

What we are looking for :

• University or college degree in operations management or a relevant field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in production supervision and team management.
• Organizational skills – Ability to effectively manage and plan your team’s work.
