Your function

For an agri-food manufacturing company located in LaSalle, we are looking for a Production Supervisor - Weekend Shift to start immediately.
Position 40 hours/week - On-site - Rotating shifts (day, evening, night) - Friday to Monday.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be in charge of the following tasks:

1. Planning the flow of work on the production lines
2. Participating in the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes (lean manufacturing)
3. Managing the work teams of the various departments and ensuring the smooth running of plant operations
4. Pass on good OHS practices to your team and ensure compliance with standards
5. Identify production efficiency problems and resolve them
6. Train teams (tasks, hygiene, quality, safety standards, etc.)
7. Other production-related tasks (production forms, quality, inventory)

We are looking for someone who is organized, capable of managing a dynamic team and ensuring the smooth running of production lines. Our ideal candidate has experience in continuous improvement and process engineering, and demonstrates leadership skills.

Your profile

1. At least 1 to 3 years' experience in a similar position, supervising teams
2. French-speaking - English at professional level
3. DEC or BAC, in engineering, science, or any other field
4. Experience in the agri-food, pharmaceutical or packaging industries an asset
5. Knowledge of an ERP and ease with computer tools (Office Suite)
6. Knowledge of occupational health and safety rules
7. Experience in a unionized environment, an asset
8. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, important

Salary: $80k - $85k depending on experience and degree
