About the role: The Production Supervisor, Liquid is responsible for operations, maintenance, planning, and efficiencies of all lines in the production departments within a Lean Manufacturing environment. The Shift Supervisor, Liquid, is committed to food and employee safety, ensuring compliance with BRC, HACCP, GMP, and Health and Safety standards. The role involves monitoring and applying safety programs daily.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Embed and maintain a Safety-first mindset.
  2. Ensure safe food production, adhering to GMP and food safety standards.
  3. Communicate production schedules and requirements daily.
  4. Set expectations with team members and follow up on their completion.
  5. Participate in continuous improvement projects and encourage staff involvement.
  6. Inspect workforce performance and work areas daily.
  7. Oversee sanitation, preventive maintenance, and rework processes.
  8. Coordinate with other departments on production matters.
  9. Manage employee discipline, staff requirements, and training needs.
  10. Participate in Health and Safety initiatives and investigations.
  11. Handle administrative tasks such as attendance, SAP entries, and inventory accuracy.
  12. Provide leadership and coaching to production and maintenance staff.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.

About You:

  1. College Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Food Science, Production Management, or Business Administration.
  2. Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in food manufacturing.
  3. Supervisory experience of at least 3 years.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is an asset.
  5. Leadership, organizational skills, teamwork, and creativity.
  6. Availability for 12-hour shifts and ability to move around the facility.
  7. Ability to work in heat and in a dynamic environment.
