What You’ll Be Doing:
- Oversee all shop deliveries and pickups for commercial and residential projects
- Coordinate with Project and Residential Coordinators to manage purchase orders (P.O.s)
- Perform quality control checks on received and outgoing materials to ensure accuracy and prevent damage
- Track backorders and short shipments; communicate status and arrange site deliveries when needed
- Submit packing slips to Accounting and notify teams when materials ship to site
- Review fabrication drawings for completeness, accuracy, and special requirements
- Verify cutting lists and distribute fabrication tasks to shop personnel
- Attend and actively participate in weekly production schedule meetings with Project Managers and General Manager
- Maintain and update production schedules based on fabrication drawing releases
- Supervise frame fabrication in alignment with production timelines and project priorities
- Schedule deliveries and ensure accurate placement and documentation of materials in storage
- Confirm installation materials with Project Coordinators prior to shipment
- Package and arrange shipment of installation components (e.g., anchors, clips, sealants, etc.)
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment in curtain wall/glazing industry
- Experience working with aluminum, glass, and related materials in curtain wall
- Familiarity with interpreting fabrication/shop drawings and technical specifications
- Proven experience in production scheduling, inventory control, and material handling
- Strong understanding of curtain wall systems, hardware, and fabrication processes
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, cutting lists, and technical documents
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, inventory systems, time tracking software)
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in a shop/manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Effective communication skills to liaise with project managers, coordinators, shop staff, and delivery drivers
- Valid driver’s license as work location is not transit accessible
