Job description

Welcome to CNOOC International. We are a global energy company and subsidiary of CNOOC Limited with a vision of delivering safe, sustainable energy for all.

CNOOC International, the international division of CNOOC Limited, operates across Asia, Africa, the Americas, the Middle East, and Europe. We have grown successfully as an upstream oil and gas producer by consistently discovering and developing world-class assets.

Our focus is on safely exploring and producing from conventional offshore, unconventional, and oil sands assets. As part of the CNOOC Group, which spans the entire energy supply chain, our size and capabilities give us a competitive advantage to deliver long-term value.

Oil sands development is a key part of CNOOC International’s portfolio. In Canada, CNOOC Petroleum North America holds interests in over 300,000 acres in the Athabasca region—home to one of the largest Canadian oil reserves, utilizing advanced production methods like Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD). Our Long Lake facility in northern Alberta, operational since 2008, is a SAGD-only plant with a capacity of approximately 72,000 barrels of bitumen per day.
