Production Supervisor - Cannabis Processing

Salary : $34.62 per hour / 35 hours per week

Terms of Employment : Permanent, Full-time

Work Setting : Warehouse

Education

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years in quality assurance or control, with specialization in cannabis processing.

Responsibilities

  • Train staff / workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions.
  • Prepare production and other reports.
  • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Supervise, co-ordinate, and schedule activities of workers.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Oversee distribution of merchandise to outlets.
  • Monitor safety conditions and oversee safety of operations.
  • Arrange for shipping, receiving, and storage.
  • Communicate with other workers to co-ordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments.
  • Coordinate work activities to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets.
