The Opportunity

BRC is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our growing team as a Production Supervisor to oversee the afternoon shift. Located in Georgetown, ON, BRC specializes in creating meaningful and inspirational workplace experiences. Position Summary

The Supervisor is responsible for leading, motivating, and coaching a team of production workers, and coordinating daily activities to meet production schedule objectives and quality standards efficiently and safely. They will also provide manufacturing guidelines and direction for all products.

Responsibilities

  1. Plan and establish daily work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet targets.
  2. Lead, motivate, and coach team members to ensure quality standards and schedules are met efficiently.
  3. Resolve departmental problems promptly.
  4. Manage production output according to plans from the Production Planner and Manager.
  5. Monitor workforce efficiency and overtime hours.
  6. Adjust tasks, timing, and equipment setup to meet specifications and optimize resources.
  7. Prepare timely production reports.
  8. Address poor performance proactively following policies and procedures.
  9. Collaborate with the Quality department to analyze root causes and improve quality.
  10. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and policies, maintaining a safe work environment.
  11. Maintain compliance with OHSA, WSIB, and other safety regulations.
  12. Train and cross-train staff in various roles.
  13. Participate in hiring new team members.
  14. Support team in implementing new products through meetings and training.
