Your Role
As Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing day-to-day operations for the packing, warehouse, and loading departments, ensuring that direct reports follow policies and procedures related to employee safety and food/feed safety. To succeed, you must be able to:

Your Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute day-to-day operations for the department, ensuring policies and procedures related to safety are followed
- Partner with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) and Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory experts to ensure compliance with safety policies
- Monitor production outcomes, quantity, and quality to meet customer and food safety requirements, and recommend improvements
- Lead process improvement initiatives such as Centerlining, Preventative Maintenance, 5S, and ELEMEDS
- Collaborate with plant management to meet efficiency standards and track performance metrics
- Develop workforce planning strategies and participate in employee selection
- Manage inventory counts, correct discrepancies, and investigate variances
- Engage, recognize, develop, and coach hourly team members
Essential Skills And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or High school diploma/GED with 4 years of production experience
- At least 1 year of leadership experience in an industrial environment
- Understanding of safety hazards and protocols
- Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems
Good To Have
- Knowledge of packaging equipment and conveying systems
- Training in LEAN, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
- Reliability centered maintenance training
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Ability to perform administrative tasks at a computer
- Wearing PPE as required
- Work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Work in hot/cold, indoor/outdoor, dusty, noisy, elevated, and confined environments
- Perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, climbing, and working at heights

- Ability to read and interpret instructions and communicate effectively in English
- Willingness to work long hours, including weekends and holidays
- Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
- Pass pre-employment drug test and background check
