Job summary

Premier Tech Horticulture in Richer, Manitoba is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily production activities, oversee shipping/receiving and contribute to a safe, organized workplace. You will coordinate materials flow and supervise a team to meet productivity goals, while maintaining quality across the manufacturing process.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication and the ability to adapt to variable shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a production team.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive and efficient problem solving.
• Willingness to work morning, afternoon or evening shifts.
• A college diploma or bachelor’s degree in production management, engineering, industrial maintenance or related field is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety practices are followed in the workplace.
• Plan, organize and monitor production and inventory activities.
• Coordinate receipt, transfer and shipment of raw materials and finished products.
• Supervise, train and support team members in their work and development.
• Ensure quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
• Troubleshoot production challenges and analyze reports and performance indicators to meet productivity goals.
• Communicate with management and coordinate activities with other teams.
