Linamar Corporation is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations on a production line, ensuring efficient workflow and compliance with safety and quality targets. You will manage production staff, coordinate materials and machinery, and implement processes to optimize productivity.

Responsibilities include guiding team activities, monitoring metrics, and collaborating with other departments to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in manufacturing with 1–2 years in a lead role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Familiar with production scheduling and inventory management systems.

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
• Manage and coordinate team activities, providing guidance and support to production staff.
• Monitor production metrics and implement improvements to enhance productivity.
• Serve as a key member of the Core Team, collaborating with other departments to optimize workflow and resolve any production issues.
• Conduct performance evaluations, issue corrective counselling and provide training in coordination with the Human Resources department

Academic/Educational Requirements

• Completion of secondary school is required
• Relevant certifications in production management or lean manufacturing are an asset

Required Skills/Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with 1-2 years in a lead hand role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze production data.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and guide team members.
• Familiarity with production scheduling and inventory management systems.
