Job summary

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada is hiring Production Summer Students for full-time contract roles in our Manufacturing Area. Positions run through early September 2027 with training provided and no prior experience required.

Students must be enrolled for fall 2027, be available to start in May, and be able to work rotating shifts at Cambridge and Woodstock locations. This role offers hands-on training and the opportunity to build experience at a leading automotive plant.

Qualifications

• Full-time Undergraduate or Graduate students who will be enrolling or returning to school full-time in fall 2027.
• Provide written proof of enrollment into University or College for September 2027 once an offer is accepted.
• Able to work rotating shifts (2 weeks days/afternoons).
• Support all required daily overtime, including Saturday mornings as scheduled.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Availability to start full-time in May or sooner is typically required.
• Ability to work at both Cambridge and Woodstock locations.
• Selected candidates will need to successfully complete pre-employment medical.
• Able to work a complete summer contract up to and including Saturday September 4, 2027.

Responsibilities

• As part of our team, each shift will be new, exciting and packed with opportunities. You’ll help assemble gas and hybrid models of the Toyota RAV4, Lexus RX, and Lexus NX.
• You’ll gain on-the-job training and contribute to the overall manufacturing process in a hands-on role.

Production Summer Students Full-Time Summer Contract Positions – Ending SaturdaySeptember 4, 2027. Available positions start as early as April 2027. These positions are not considered Co-operative Education (Co-op).
