Position Type : 5-Month Contract (Night Shift)

Hours : 3 : 30 PM – 2 : 00 AM

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Production Associate to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. This role requires comfort with manual labor, the ability to stand for extended periods, and a strong commitment to teamwork and quality. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows instructions carefully, and thrives in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare the production line to ensure an on-time startup.
  • Clean designated components of the production line as directed by Operating Leads.
  • Stack and package finished products efficiently and accurately.
  • Monitor product quality continuously and report any defects to Leads and the Process Improvement team.
  • Track and report packaging material needs to Operating Leads and Section Supervisors.
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures.
  • Follow the established production cleaning schedule.
  • Promptly report maintenance issues to Operating Leads.
  • Comply with all Food Safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.
  • Observe assigned break and rotation schedules.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or a similar environment preferred.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with team members and visitors.
  • Forklift license and experience are considered assets.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Language Requirements :

  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and use hands for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
  • Must pass a medical fitness assessment.
  • Fine motor skills required for tasks such as keyboarding.
  • Work Environment :

  • Manufacturing setting with varying noise levels (moderate to high).
  • Must be able to wear required PPE, including respirators, hazmat suits, safety glasses, and gloves.
  • Exposure to airborne particles (dust, organic materials).
  • Temperature fluctuations depending on weather conditions.
