Production Specialist – Sign & Graphics | Calgary, AB

Are you passionate about hands-on work, creative problem-solving, and delivering top-quality results? Join our dynamic team as a Production Specialist at our growing Calgary sign and graphics shop!

About the Role

As a Production Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our operation-preparing materials, producing signage and graphics, and ensuring every project exceeds client expectations. You’ll work both in our shop and on-site, handling installations, deliveries, and inspections. This is a varied, fast-paced role that’s perfect for someone who enjoys both craftsmanship and customer interaction.

What You’ll Do

Prepare substrates and media, and produce all graphic / signage jobs according to work orders and timelines

Install signage and graphics at client sites and deliver completed orders as needed

Assist with on-site signage inspections and measurements

Operate and maintain wide-format printers, vinyl plotters, laminators, and other production equipment

Use small power tools and perform light carpentry as required

Ensure all jobs meet our high standards for quality, accuracy, and safety

Keep the production area organized and inventory well-managed

Support walk-in clients, answer phones, and provide excellent customer service

Serve as a backup to the Production Manager and collaborate with the team to meet deadlines

What You Bring

Experience in the sign / graphics industry is a strong asset, but we’re open to training the right candidate

Knowledge of sign industry substrates, media, and products is a plus

Proficiency with design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, FlexiSign)

Experience operating wide-format printers, vinyl plotters, laminators, and / or CNC routers is a bonus

Strong communication skills-both written and verbal

High attention to detail and a knack for multi-tasking

Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team

Positive, professional attitude and a commitment to customer service

Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and using power tools

Strong mathematical skills (high school level)

Valid driver’s license preferred
