We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and experienced person to fill the role of Production Specialist/Installer. The FASTSIGNS Center's sign production area is fully equipped with top-of-the-line sign-making equipment.

Job Description
At the production table, you will be responsible for all aspects of the physical construction and assembly of signs from computer-cut vinyl and wide-format full-color printouts, including proofreading and conducting quality assurance to ensure the accuracy of signs. As an Installer, you’ll play an important role in getting the finished sign or graphic in place so everyone can see it—whether in the ground, on a wall, on a vehicle, or hanging from a ceiling. You’ll use a variety of tools to assemble, erect, and hang items, both inside and out. Fear of heights is not in your vocabulary. There is a significant degree of customer interaction in this position. Professional demeanor and a customer service focus are required. The ideal candidate is a creative, self-motivated team player who can work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and is committed to making every project his or her absolute best.
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.

Production Specialist Responsibilities

· Prepare materials for application by cutting to size.
· Weeding and masking of vinyl.
· Apply graphics to various materials.
· Load materials on printer and/or laminator, and print and laminate.
· Conduct quality checks on all signs before completion/customer delivery.
· Package materials for shipping.
· Work on different projects simultaneously.
· Keep the production area neat, clean, and organized.
· Arrange shipping and delivery with couriers and follow up.
· Follow up on incoming orders and shipments.
Sign Installer Responsibilities (training provided to suitable candidates)
• Perform installations in the field on vehicles and building interiors/exteriors using ladders or mechanical lift systems.
• Confirm signage accurately conforms to work orders (spelling, materials, size, etc.).
• Prepare worksite by removing unwanted signage, preparing mounting surfaces, and ensuring the installation area is clean and safe.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures during preparation and installation.
• Use a variety of tools to assemble, erect, and hang items, both inside and out.
• Clean the installation site after completion.
• Ensure signs are correctly placed and properly aligned.
• Perform quality control review and take pictures of completed installations.
• Consult with sales staff to provide accurate labor estimates and set realistic deadlines.

Qualifications

· 3+ years of experience in production; sign production experience preferred.
· Physically fit, able to lift large sheets and up to 80 lbs.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
· Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers and fractions).
· Able to use power tools.
· Punctual, reliable, and responsible.
