Overview

Join Our Team as a Production Print Field Service Technician!

Are you passionate about providing top-notch technical support and problem-solving within the production print environment? We're searching for a skilled Production Print Field Service Technician to become a vital part of our innovative team. Responsibilities

Perform on-site maintenance and repairs for production print equipment.

  1. Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize production downtime.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and implement preventive maintenance procedures.
  3. Install, configure, and calibrate production print machinery for optimal performance.
  4. Collaborate closely with clients, delivering outstanding customer service and support.
  5. Maintain parts and call management as well as accurate records to achieve KPI targets.
  6. Learn new technologies, maintain accurate records and assist other team members as required.
  7. Lead referrals, assist with customer assessments and solution design.
  8. Break-fix and customer support.
  9. Seek opportunities to improve territory parts budget and inventory control.
  10. Perform other relevant duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in servicing and repairing production print machinery.

  1. Proficient in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting within a production print environment.
  2. Familiarity with a variety of production print technologies and systems.
  3. Exceptional communication skills and a strong customer service orientation.
  4. Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse client environments.
  5. Network Skills: Install and troubleshoot basic printing and scanning solutions.
  6. Solutions Knowledge: Basic understanding of solutions portfolio.
  7. Product Knowledge: Excellent working knowledge and certification of production systems.
  8. Color Skills: Working knowledge of calibration, and RIP configurations.
  9. Must be positive, outgoing, self-motivated and committed to building and maintaining strong customer relations.
  10. Traveling within Canada; candidate must provide & maintain valid travel documents at own expense.
  11. Own vehicle and possess valid insurance with appropriate coverage and a valid driver’s license in good standing.
  12. Standby and after-hours work may be required.
  13. Training may require after-hours travel and stay-overs including weekends.
