Join Our Team as a Production Print Field Service Technician!

Are you passionate about providing top-notch technical support and problem-solving within the production print environment? We are seeking a skilled Production Print Field Service Technician to become a vital part of our innovative team. Responsibilities

1. Perform on-site maintenance and repairs for production print equipment.
2. Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize production downtime.
3. Conduct regular inspections and implement preventive maintenance procedures.
4. Install, configure, and calibrate production print machinery for optimal performance.
5. Collaborate closely with clients, delivering outstanding customer service and support.
6. On-site service of MFPs.
7. Maintain parts and call management as well as accurate records to achieve KPI targets.
8. Learn new technologies, maintain accurate records, and assist other team members as required.
9. Lead referrals, assist with customer assessments, and solution design (10%).
10. Break-fix and customer support (90%).
11. Seek opportunities to improve territory parts budget and inventory control.
12. Perform other relevant duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in servicing and repairing production print machinery.
• Proficient in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting within a production print environment.
• Familiarity with various production print technologies and systems.
• Exceptional communication skills and a strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse client environments.
• Network skills including installation and troubleshooting of basic printing and scanning solutions, Microsoft OS environments, and common business app printing.
• Basic understanding of solutions portfolio and excellent working knowledge of production systems with certification.
• Working knowledge of color calibration and RIP configurations.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Mentoring and instruction capabilities (10%).
• Moderate pre/post consulting ability.
• Limited assistance required for complex problems.
• Must be positive, outgoing, self-motivated, and committed to building strong customer relations.
• Willingness to travel within Canada, own a vehicle with valid insurance, and possess a valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Standby and after-hours work may be required. Training may include after-hours travel and overnight stays, including weekends.
