Job Summary:

The Production Planning and Materials Manager is responsible for all order preparations, communication, and shipments related to production and validation operations. This role works closely with Program Managers and the Molding & Validation Management Team to ensure efficient operations with adequate resources to meet customer demands and plant requirements. The individual will also ensure compliance with provincial and federal legislation, company policies, health & safety policies, and ISO quality standards.

Education and Experience:

• Completion of a college diploma or university degree is required.
• Previous work experience in supply chain and logistics is required.
• Certificate in supply chain and logistics is preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Visual, Sisense, and EDI.
• Ability to navigate customer portal functions and communicate directly with customers as required.
• Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, Red-X, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
• Experience with IATF 16949 and ISO/QS/TS Quality Systems is preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for customer meetings, audits, and product demonstrations.
• Ability to analyze incomplete information and make timely decisions while mitigating risks.
• Knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, production methods, and resource coordination.
• Capable of forecasting, scheduling, planning, and problem-solving.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Willingness to lead, take charge, and provide direction.
• Positive attitude towards change and adaptability.
