Job description

Temporary position – 12 to 18 months

We are seeking a production planning analyst to report to the Team Leader, Production Planning, within a dynamic multi-sector team under the S&OP director. This role is based in Sherbrooke with a flexible work arrangement of 50% remote and 50% in-office work. You will play a key role in supporting the organization's growth by guiding decision-makers to balance internal market demand, capacities, inventory, and financial goals at BRP.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Collaborate closely with the global planning team to develop an optimal production, market, and inventory plan.
  • Continuously adapt and optimize the production plan to meet global market demands, considering various constraints and operational needs.
  • Propose strategic solutions for various challenges throughout the year.
  • Create preliminary production scenarios for long-term capacity planning, identifying focus areas and future investments.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations to communicate strategies and facilitate decision-making.
  • Maintain high collaboration levels with supply chain stakeholders.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in administration, operations management, or relevant fields.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a sizable manufacturing organization.
  • Strong analytical skills and a process improvement mindset.
  • Drive and accountability aligned with BRP’s key performance indicators.
  • Clear verbal communication and high-quality written skills.
  • Business acumen to maximize sales and inventory results regionally.
  • Effective networking skills across regions and remote sites.
  • Influence skills across functions and levels.
  • Willingness to travel approximately twice a year within North America.
  • Bilingual in French and English, capable of advising stakeholders outside Quebec daily.
