Job summary

BioVectra Inc., now part of Agilent, is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate production activities and material usage planning for manufacturing sites in Canada. You will support the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Master Capacity Schedule (MCS) by ensuring timely material availability, creating and maintaining bills of materials, and managing requisitions from order placement to release.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, supply chain, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of production planning, scheduling, or supply chain experience.
  • Experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing (biopharma, pharmaceutical, medical device, or similar) preferred.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, SYSPRO, JDE, Dynamics).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the site Master Production Schedule.
  • Convert demand forecasts into executable manufacturing plans.
  • Align production schedules with capacity constraints, material availability, equipment readiness and workforce availability.
  • Lead schedule reviews and planning meetings.
  • Monitor schedule adherence and recovery plans.
  • Identify and communicate production risks.
  • Support inventory optimization while maintaining customer service levels.
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Technical Operations, Quality, and Project Management.
  • Prepare planning metrics and management reports.

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
