A leading staffing firm is seeking an Associate for a 3+ month contract role in Montreal. This position involves monitoring production timelines, managing ERP systems, and collaborating across departments to ensure smooth operations. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills and a proactive problem-solving approach, with experience in manufacturing and production functions preferred.

Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP Business One.
  • Experience in planning and production management is a plus.
  • Ability to proactively solve problems and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and update project progress to ensure production timelines are met.
  • Open, update, and close production orders within the ERP system.
  • Identify planning-related issues and collaborate with teams to develop solutions.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams.
  • Optimize production schedules to improve efficiency and minimize delays.
  • React to raw material inventory shortages and coordinate project steps.

Base pay range

CA$25.00 / hr - CA$30.00 / hr

  • Open, update, and close production orders within the ERP system (SAP Business One).
  • Identify planning-related issues, collaborate with teams to develop solutions, and reschedule production as needed.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Optimize production schedules to improve efficiency and minimize delays.
  • React to raw material inventory shortages and coordinate the steps of the projects accordingly.

Requirements

  • Enjoy teamwork and demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP Business One (asset).
  • Experience in planning and production management (asset).
