Job summary

Barry Callebaut Manufacturing Iberica SA. is seeking a Production Planner in Ontario. The role focuses on planning and forecasting activities, coordinating between customer service, production and traffic for all orders, and ensuring safety practices are followed daily.

Responsibilities include scheduling production, managing rework, and maintaining MRP/SAP data. The ideal candidate has a college diploma with 3+ years of planning experience and strong SAP/Excel skills.

Qualifications

• College Diploma/Associates or equivalent of 3+ years' experience Planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong computer skills - SAP, Word, Excel, Windows.
• Awareness of manufacturing methods, process improvements and procedures.

• Establish, coordinate and organize short-term needs for the production lines.
• Manage and schedule rework and projects for production.
• Evaluate line/tank positions and adjust schedule to accommodate shipments, line capacity and demand.
• Respond and commit product availability date for customers and track until shipping date.
• Manage, use and maintain MRP and SAP tables.
• Material setup and validation for production; manage inventory levels and safety stocks.
• Release and follow up on raw materials and packaging purchase orders to suppliers.
• Communicate supplier issues to management.
• Process and manage return of product to the supplier after buyer decision; inform purchasing of changes.
• Support site BCOS and continuous improvement.

About the role:

The Production Planner is responsible for the planning and forecasting of act¡vities related to production. Coordinating act¡vities between customer service, production and traffic of all orders. The Production Planner position is cogn¡zant and understanding of food and employee safety and ensures application in their daily routine.

Key responsibilities include:

• Respond and commit product availability date for customers and track until shipping date.
• Manage, use and maintain MRP and SAP tables.

• Release and follow up on raw materials and packaging purchase orders to suppliers.
• Communicate all supplier issues to appropriate Management staff.
• Process and manage the return of product to the supplier after buyer decision. Keep purchasing informed of anysudden demand changes.
• Support site BCOS - lntegrated work systems. Continuous improvement.

About you:

• College Diploma/Associates Degree or equivalent of 3+ years' experience Planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong computer skills - including SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows.
• Must be aware of manufacturing methods, process improvements and procedures.

Compensation: Annual Range: $64,160 - $80,200 CAD

Working Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday + 2 hours every third weekend

Shift Details: Day shift with flexibility to provide remote support every third weekend (2 hours during the morning).
