Job summary

Glenn’s in Etobicoke, Canada is hiring a Production & Packaging Technician for day shift. You’ll operate packaging equipment, load materials, prepare finished products, and help keep production running efficiently through the day. This hands-on role is in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Training is available for the right person, with a focus on reliability, mechanical aptitude, and teamwork. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience operating automatic packaging or labelling machines is an asset; training may be provided.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and able to follow processes.

Glenn’s is looking for a reliable and hardworking Production & Packaging Technician to join our day shift production team.

This is a hands on role in a fast paced manufacturing environment. You’ll work as part of our production team operating packaging equipment, preparing finished products, and helping keep production running efficiently throughout the day.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operating automatic packaging equipment and labelling machines
• Setting up, loading, monitoring, and assisting with adjustments to production equipment
• Packaging finished products accurately and efficiently
• Master casing and preparing completed products for inventory and shipment
• Completing production logs and accurately recording production output
• Performing routine equipment checks and basic troubleshooting
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe production area
• Following company procedures, quality requirements, and production standards
• Working with the production team to meet daily output targets
• Helping with other production and packaging duties as required

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who’s dependable, learns quickly, and is comfortable working around automated equipment.

Experience operating automatic packaging machines, labelling machines, or other manufacturing equipment is a strong asset, but we’re willing to train the right person.

You should be:

• Comfortable working in a fast paced production environment
• Mechanically inclined and confident learning new equipment
• Detail oriented and able to follow processes consistently
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs when required
• Reliable and punctual
