Job description

Join to apply for the Production Packaging Associate role at Altium Packaging.

This is an entry-level position responsible for proper packaging of materials and finished products, loading and moving materials, and operating packaging equipment. The role also requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Demonstrate punctuality and adhere to work schedules.
  2. Work effectively with others and demonstrate a team-oriented attitude.
  3. Follow safe work practices, including wearing appropriate PPE and escalating abnormalities.
  4. Perform hourly inspections and adhere to GMP policies, escalating issues when defects are found.
  5. Operate designated lines safely and efficiently.
  6. Monitor conveyor systems and clear jams.
  7. Discard defective products and report quality issues.
  8. Ensure proper packing according to customer requirements.
  9. Maintain a neat and organized work area.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned, which may vary by plant.
Qualifications:
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Basic computer experience.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire.
Physical Demands:

Must be able to stand, walk, handle, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, loud noise levels, and fluctuating temperatures. PPE required.
