Job Description

We are seeking an Ink Maker/Ink Tech to work with us on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday days from 5 am to 5:30 pm. We offer a very competitive starting pay plus a shift differential when applicable. The person in this role will specialize in manufacturing high-quality printing ink. Responsibilities include:

  1. Following batch instructions to weigh, charge, and mix inks.
  2. Understanding proper mixing procedures and raw materials.
  3. Monitoring temperature and mix speeds, adjusting as needed.
  4. Following procedures for milling inks, adjusting pump speeds and mill rates.
  5. Filtering, packaging, and labeling inks.
  6. Making QC adjustments as instructed.
  7. Weighing quantities of raw materials.
  8. Operating one or more mixers safely and efficiently.
  9. Packaging finished products.
  10. Operating a forklift.
Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

  • Have a High School diploma or G.E.D.
  • Have at least 6 months of manufacturing experience.
  • Have forklift experience.
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Possess basic math, communication, and mechanical skills.
  • Be capable of completing multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

Plus, it is a plus if you have:

  • Understanding of 5S workplace organization.
  • Knowledge of TPM.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
