PRODUCTION OPERATORS

United Rotary Brush is a manufacturer of specialty industrial brushes for the airport, road construction and street sweeping industries. Our Barrie, Ontario manufacturing facility is looking for a 2nd Shift Production Operator . This position is a great fit for someone that take pride in the work, prefers to work with their hands, while meeting the goal to produce quality products to our customers. A person that desires to help drive a safe, quality focused, production environment will thrive at United Rotary Brush Corporation.

Pay starts at $20 - $22

PRODUCTION OPERATOR JOB SUMMARY

Participate in line setup and production of high-volume brushes and brooms . Ensure machines are operating effectively and efficiently and that production needs are met through daily production efforts. Operate machines and perform light maintenance and cleaning. Perform work that is within safety and quality guidelines.

PRODUCTION OPERATOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adhere to all safety procedures and company polices at all times, in all actions
  • Produce, package, and label all product to quality and manufacturing specifications at required production rates.
  • Clean and maintain equipment in work area during and at the end of each shift.

PRODUCTION OPERATOR Education and Skills :

  • Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent work experience.
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge of production procedures with ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
  • Problem identification and solving skills.
  • Ability and judgement to interact and communicate appropriately with other employees.
  • Regular attendance and ability to be at work regularly and on time is essential.
  • Note : A $500.00 retention bonus will be paid to those eligible participants who are hired while the program is in effect and attain 3 months of continuous employment with United Rotary Brush in their current qualified position. Eligible participants who are hired while the program is in effect and attain 6 months of continuous employment in their current qualified position will receive another $500.00 bonus . The bonuses are subject to all applicable taxes. Details of this program will be discussed at time of hire.
