Production Operator

Ayr, ON

Onsite 5:00AM - 3:30PM (Monday-Thursday)

As a Production Operator, you will operate within the premix manufacturing process including related equipment, associated utility systems, injury free, in a proper and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Handle raw materials, transport from storage to charge bins, weigh ingredients, and add them to the Process Control System.
• Monitor manufacturing equipment and process parameters; record process conditions and actions as required in the system.
• Perform minor maintenance work on equipment when necessary.
• Take care of good housekeeping within the area of responsibility.
• Must understand and comply with DSM SHE Lock Out Tag Out Try Out (LOTOTO), Confined Space, Dust Explosion, Forklift, Respirator, Warehouse training, and any other Quality and/or SHE training provided.

You bring:

• High school or equivalent and a minimum of 6 months related experience preferred.
• Good reading and writing skills are a must.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Good communication skills required.
• Ability to operate computers/terminals/scanners.
• Forklift experience preferred.
