Days: Monday through Friday

As a Production Operator at Avient, you'll set up and operate equipment to blend, mix, or transport chemicals, ensuring high quality and cost efficiency. Responsibilities include machine maintenance, quality control, data recording, and supporting safety and regulatory compliance.

Essential Duties

• Set up, start, and operate machinery
• Weigh ingredients and manage materials
• Monitor production and troubleshoot issues
• Operate machinery for mixing and handling materials
• Sample materials for lab evaluation
• Perform machine cleaning and document work

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Preferred experience in industrial operations
• Ability to interpret safety and operational documents
• Mathematical skills for measurements and conversions

Physical Demands

• Extended standing, sitting, talking, and listening
• Occasional bending, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds
• Work in a loud manufacturing environment with PPE
• Exposure to outside weather, heat, humidity, dust, or fumes
