Location: Waterloo, ON, Canada (onsite)

As our next Machine Operator, you’ll be at the forefront of assembling and inspecting products while following standardized work instructions. Your expertise in CNC operations, precision measurement, and quality compliance will be critical in maintaining safe, efficient production in accordance with Johnson Electric’s quality systems and continuous improvement culture.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Operate CNC machines with skill and precision
• Interpret GD&T and engineering drawings for accurate production
• Use precision measuring instruments for parts inspection
• Troubleshoot issues when working with a variety of materials
• Maintain a strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Adhere to WHMIS and all safety requirements
• Read and follow production sheets to complete accurate parts
• Maintain positive working relationships with plant personnel
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Post-secondary education in a related field (asset, but not required)
• Ability to use and interpret measuring systems for part inspection
• Understanding of process sheets and traceability procedures
• Strong safety, attendance, quality, and production track record
• Basic math skills with high accuracy
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Prior CNC operation experience in manufacturing
• Familiarity with SPS, 5S, and CI activities
• Experience working in a high-temperature or noisy environment
