Job summary

Drake International is seeking a Production Operator for blending and packaging in Winchester, Ontario. The role involves supporting blending, packaging, and production processes while upholding quality, productivity, and safety standards.

The position is full-time, temp-to-perm, with a 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift from Monday to Thursday, Fridays off. Ideal candidates provide a Fall Arrest certification, can lift up to 50 lbs, and work well both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Valid Fall Arrest certification is required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Hand-eye coordination.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 23 kg / 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials.
• Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines.
• Feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers.
• Remove filled containers from conveyors.
• Feed and unload processing machines.
• Clean machines and immediate work areas.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and workplace standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Successful candidates will play a key role in supporting blending, packaging, and production processes while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards at all times.

The role
