Job DescriptionJob DescriptionQualified Staffing in Cartersville is currently seeking a Production Operator to join our team. The Production Operator supports efficient manufacturing by monitoring and improving production processes. This role helps ensure quality, productivity, and safety by tracking performance, resolving issues, and following best practices. Job Title: Production Operator
Location: Kingston, GAPay: $18.00/HR
Key Areas of Responsibility:

  1. Monitor and continuously improve the speed and efficiency of unit manufacturing processes.
  2. Track production progress by reviewing departmental Key Risk Indicator (KRI) reports.
  3. Report daily production activities, results, and process indicators.
  4. Analyze and report daily production issues
  5. Monitor operating conditions at every production stage.
  6. Inspect semi-finished products to ensure compliance with quality and appearance specifications.
  7. Audit the cell manufacturing process for adherence to regulations, especially regarding malfunction handling.
  8. Support customer audits and implement measures to meet product specifications and compliance requirements.
  9. Identify and reduce production process losses to improve efficiency.
  10. Ensure operators receive regular training on safety practices and risk awareness.

Required Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  4. Ability to read and write in English

Physical Requirements:

  1. Regular attendance and punctuality are required
  2. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
  3. Frequently stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear; occasionally reaching, stooping, kneeling, bending, or crawling

Physical & Mental Demands:

  1. Formation Area: Required to wear company-provided uniform, safety shoes, glasses, and hats
  2. Electrode & Assembly Areas: Must wear full PPE including uniform, safety shoes, glasses, clinical masks, and a portable gas monitor.
