Job summary

Magna International Limited in Brampton, Ontario, is seeking a Production Operator for a 6-month contract. You will perform daily production tasks, verify equipment, and ensure quality standards are met while coordinating with shifts and maintaining a clean 5S workspace.

The role requires a Grade 12 diploma and physically capable candidates with good communication and problem-solving skills. Automotive experience is a plus; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Validate/verify the Poke-Yoke equipment using red rabbit at the beginning of the report.
• Conduct daily Work Instruction binder reviews and complete startup checklists.
• Perform pre-shift safety checks and maintain daily production standards.
• Report production on MES and notify leads of machine or quality issues as they arise.
• Inspect parts to ensure quality criteria are met and document findings.
• Coordinate with the next shift on issues and maintain 5S workplace organization.
• Work overtime when necessary and comply with safety, quality, and GDPR-related policies.
