Qualifications

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent in reading, writing, and basic math.
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing, construction, or similar industry preferred.
  • 3 years of flexographic printing and/or blown film multilayer extrusion experience is an asset.
  • Minimum 1 year of counter-balance forklift operating experience is recommended.

Responsibilities

  • Follow established safety protocols and assist in investigations.
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas and equipment.
  • Adjust operating speed of machinery to meet targets.
  • Monitor and inspect film quality and production.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Follow established safety protocols, report any H&S issues and assist in near miss or accident investigations
  • Wear all personal safety equipment as required by company
  • Maintain clean and safe conditions around work areas and equipment
  • Must be flexible to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts
  • Perform job set-ups, adjustments, startups and shutdowns in accordance with specifications and standard operating procedures
  • Adjust the operating speed of machinery to meet optimal targets set by the company
  • Monitor / inspect / report safely, film quality, production and equipment condition
  • Report findings to Supervisor or Specialist and work with them to resolve any cause of defect
  • Ensure quality of film and raw materials meet or exceed customer and company standards
  • Participate in cross training on other company equipment
  • Must be able to work overtime as required beyond standard work hours
Qualifications
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent, in reading, writing and basic math
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing, construction, or similar industry preferred
  • 3 years of flexographic printing and / or blown film multilayer extrusion experience is considered an asset
  • Basic knowledge of water based print and / or blown film extrusion raw materials
  • Minimum 1 year of counter-balance forklift operating experience (Recommended)

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to safely perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
  • Comfortable with standing for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
