A leading nuclear energy company in Arnprior, Ontario is seeking a Production Operator to ensure quality and safety in operations. Responsibilities include completing necessary documentation, performing quality checks, and operating machinery. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of Grade 12 education and experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. A commitment to safety protocols is essential.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work 8 hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Complete required paperwork for traceability of product.
  • Inform Supervisor/Process owners on quality issues.
  • Perform all required quality checks daily.
  • Ensure safe operating procedures are always followed.
  • Identify safety issues and concerns.
  • Train/assist new employees on safety and quality requirements.
  • Operate various machinery on shop floor.
  • Meet demanding productivity goals.

We are currently looking for a Production Operator for our location in Arnprior, Ontario.

Hourly Pay Range: $33.15 - $36.83

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Complete required paperwork for traceability of product
  • Inform Supervisor/Process owners on quality issues
  • Perform all required Quality checks daily
  • Ensure safe operating procedures are always followed
  • Strict adherence to Job Safety Hazard Analysis, Ontario Health & Safety Act & Regulations and all Plant Safety Rules/Protocols
  • Identify safety issues and concerns
  • Take corrective action; monitor the corrective action
  • Train/assist new employees on safety and quality requirements
  • Operate various machinery on shop floor, ie, Pilger Mills, Amtrex, Polisher, HPTR’s,
  • Verify Quality requirements as per specifications for all products.
  • Meet demanding productivity goals
  • Perform repetitive work without losing effectiveness
  • Keep up with high-speed equipment and/or production demand

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 12 education.
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Able to work 8 hour rotating shifts.

Selected applicants will be tested and interviewed.
