Job summary

Equinox Gold Corp. Musselwhite Mine in Northwestern Ontario is recruiting Underground Miners to support development and growth on-site. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and contributes to safe, productive mine operations.

You will work 14 days on, 14 days off, 12 hours per day, operating 45-ton trucks and scooptrams (manual or remote). The compensation ranges CAD 104,248 to 139,292 per year with a Defined Contribution Pension Plan and employer matching up to 4%.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of underground mining experience or heavy machinery operation.
• Experience with mechanized mining is an asset.
• Able to sit/drive for up to 12 hours daily.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ontario Common Core Certification required.

Purpose

As part of our acquisition of Musselwhite Mine, we are recruiting Underground Miners. This role will be based on-site and will be responsible for contributing their skills and knowledge to our ongoing development and growth. This role will report to the Production Supervisor and will be key to the success of the Mine Department.

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Experience with Haul Trucks and Scooptrams (both Manual and Remote Control).
• Possess Ontario Common Core Certification.

Working Conditions

The schedule for this position will consist of 14 days on and 14 days off, 12 hours per day.

Compensation

• The base salary range for this position is CAD$104,248 - $139,292 per year, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
• The Company offers a Defined Contribution Pension Plan (DCPP), including an automatic 5% employer contribution, with the option for employees to receive up to an additional 4% employer match on employee contributions.
