Job summary

Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. in Canada is seeking Production Laborers to perform general joint- and shop-floor duties across multiple departments. Responsibilities include handling materials, assisting machine operators, and operating basic tools.

You will also help with loading/unloading pipe and ensuring clean, safe workspaces while following all safety policies. Experience with forklifts and overhead cranes is valued; Grade 12 or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or GED preferred; additional education past high school would be an asset.
• Forklift training or experience considered an asset.
• Overhead crane experience and/or certification preferred.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
• Handle materials – within the shop and outdoors as required.
• Assist machine operators in setup; move materials in and out of the shop using overhead hoist and forklift.
• Operate basic hand tools and powered hand tools.
• Operate various equipment as described in company procedures.
• Assist in loading/unloading of pipe deliveries/pick-ups.
• Stacking/unstacking pipe adhering to strict procedures.
• Perform work safely and follow established work procedures.
• General shop cleaning.
• Adhere to health, safety and quality policies, as well as all company policies and procedures.
• Ensure work areas are clean and organized.
• Participate in training and safety meetings.
• Other duties as required.
