Job Overview

Responsible for management and oversight of the CMC Greenville, AL Production operations across all shifts. Administers organization policies by performing the duties required either personally or through subordinate supervisors/employees.

A Day In The Life
  • Provides leadership to and is responsible for all aspects of the CMC Greenville Manufacturing personnel, productivity, on-time delivery performance, cost, and budgeting/forecast.
  • Manages and develops a team committed to process improvements in safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance, utilizing business practices, including 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
  • Drives and coordinates safety initiatives and improvements across all manufacturing areas and shifts.
  • Ensures effective management of all work centers, processes, and personnel involved with manufacturing Connectors.
  • Identifies and manages key cost drivers within manufacturing processes, working to refine processes to meet business objectives.
  • Develops solutions to meet production plans supporting company goals.
  • Plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees, maximizing process flexibility through cross-training.
  • Implements new methods and procedures to improve operations, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization, eliminating waste and developing cost reductions.

  • Manages Production Supervisors, Leads, and other direct subordinates across all shifts.
  • Provides overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of manufacturing teams.
  • Supervises the Production Team, performing responsibilities in accordance with policies and laws.
  • Handles hiring, training, planning, assigning work, performance appraisal, rewards, discipline, and conflict resolution.
  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field; 5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
  • Preferred Skills: Strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, problem-solving skills, ability to analyze and resolve issues efficiently.
