Job Summary

The Production Manager will oversee production, team, and facility operations within the unit.

If you join us as a Production Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising all H&S meetings and coordinating risk assessments
  • Motivating and developing team leaders by setting objectives to encourage goal achievement
  • Identifying skills gaps and initiating recruitment and training as needed
  • Deciding the daily departmental production plan with team leaders and planning departments to optimize efficiency and meet service levels
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to resolve operational issues and drive process improvements
  • Managing material usage, investigating overuse, waste, and stock levels
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards to maintain food safety and a well-managed department
  • Planning departmental labor to control costs
  • Preparing the department for visitors and promoting the site
  • Coordinating with engineering to resolve technical issues and meet maintenance and OEE targets
  • Maintaining site security and confidentiality
  • Managing hygiene standards and liaising with the technical team to ensure hygiene levels
  • Monitoring cooking, chilling processes, and metal detection systems

To succeed as our Production Manager, you should have:

  • Proven leadership experience on a production line or team
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice
  • Understanding of management best practices
  • Product knowledge
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Good computer literacy
