Job summary

Nexans is seeking a Production Manager to lead two Ontario cable manufacturing plants, focusing on safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will manage Supervisors and hourly teams, drive OEE improvements, and ensure SAP data integrity while maintaining cost controls.

Experience in wire and cable production, LEAN methodologies, and strong leadership are essential for delivering measurable gains in productivity and safety within a dynamic facility environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading front-line supervisors and hourly production teams.
• Strong understanding of wire and cable manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead Supervisors to achieve production targets, OTIF, efficiency, and budget goals.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to productivity and OEE.
• Ensure safety compliance and 5S discipline on the shop floor.
• Coordinate with S&OP, planning, and suppliers to align production plans.
• Drive continuous improvement via LEAN, 5S, Kaizen and KPI-driven initiatives.
