IGM Financial Inc. is seeking a creative, thoughtful, and idea-driven Production Manager to join our Marketing Services and Operations department in Toronto. This team manages digital, print, and video materials that support our brands, as well as operational services like translation, financial governance, marketing projects, and media buying.

The ideal candidate is a nimble problem solver, a collaborative team player, and an analytical thinker with strong project management and production skills. The role involves approximately 60-70% Tier 1 and Tier 2 work, and 30-40% Tier 3 work.

From kick-off to final approval, you will work with designers, writers, videographers, and marketing managers to bring our brands to life across all media. You should be self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines. Flexibility, clear communication, and stakeholder management are essential.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Manage project execution by developing workback schedules, resource allocation, and prioritization, ensuring timely delivery across teams.
  2. Oversee development of campaigns, including concept design, creative production, and media trafficking.
  3. Lead creative presentations and briefing meetings, often for senior marketing leaders.
  4. Clarify project scope and requirements to ensure effective execution.
  5. Lead and facilitate creative briefings to ensure alignment on deliverables and timelines.
  6. Ensure smooth communication and tracking of projects among teams using project management tools.
  7. Follow up on key dates, escalate risks, and communicate with senior leaders as needed.
  8. Participate in bi-weekly production meetings to review upcoming deliverables, issues, and new initiatives.
  9. Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and schedule projects proactively, maintaining strong relationships for smooth workflows.
  10. Partner with vendors to maximize value, ensure timely delivery, and enhance internal knowledge.

Proficiency and Skills:

  • High proficiency in Workfront, Excel, Word, Teams
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, PowerPoint
  • Conceptual understanding of Adobe Creative Suite and Video Production
