Looking to work in an environment where you can lead a team of motivated and tenured Supervisors, Packers, Assemblers, and Maintenance crew? Want to be part of a tight-knit management team reporting to the Plant Manager?

Our client is an established manufacturing business located in the Fraser Valley, British Columbia. They have remained active during COVID-19 as an essential service, providing key materials, packaging, and containers. They quickly adapted to new WorkSafeBC guidelines, focusing on the growth of their business and teams within the plant.

As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all production personnel, plant organization, and the safety of all equipment.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Establishing and maintaining injection processing standards for all products.
• Ensuring the effectiveness of manufacturing processes and controls in the Molding & Value-add departments.
• Meeting production efficiency requirements, quality standards, and adhering to ISO 9001 : 2015 quality procedures.
• Supporting, training, and motivating the team to meet department targets and accommodate growing production needs in a customer-driven environment.

Candidates should have experience and knowledge in injection molding processing & materials, with proven troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment. Scientific Molding certification is preferred, and Plastics Engineering Technology certification is an asset. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for managing a team.
