Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide scheduling for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs).

  • Coordinate with OHS to ensure inspections are completed.
  • Ensure sufficient tools and equipment for maintenance.
  • Conduct weekly toolbox talks to communicate with maintenance team.

MFC Training is currently looking for a Maintenance Production Manager to join our team in London, Ontario!

The Maintenance Production Manager directs aircraft maintenance activities to ensure the maintenance, modification, and repair of aircraft are accomplished in accordance with policies and instructions contained in the Maintenance control manual. Coordinates with stores, planning, and technical records to ensure maintenance activities are carried out effectively to meet requirements and timelines.

Our Operations :

  • MFC Training is a Transport Canadian Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO), carrying out recurring inspections, line maintenance, and heavy maintenance checks;
  • MFC Training currently maintains a fleet of various training aircraft; and
  • Offers a great learning environment where you will touch on almost every aspect of aircraft maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide scheduling for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs)
  • Assign training and adjust schedules accordingly
  • Conduct regular hangar and ramp inspections and report any noted deficiencies; maintain equipment in serviceable working condition; and workshop and hangar facilities in a clean and orderly manner
  • Coordinate with OHS to ensure MTC bases have weekly, monthly equipment and hangar inspections completed, and any noted deficiencies are rectified
  • Ensure sufficient tools, equipment are made available to accomplish the maintenance and inspection functions
  • Coordinate with Stores to ensure required parts are available as required
  • Conduct weekly toolbox talks to communicate with maintenance team
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Transport Canada issued AME License M1/M2
  • Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) on company aircraft is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an AME
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent decision making and organizational skills
  • Proven experience in meeting deadlines
  • Troubleshooting experience and the ability to problem solve
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Experience in a supervisory role is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulationsand airframe and power plant systems
  • In depth knowledge of Win-Air is considered an asset
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance
