We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to join our rapidly growing Manufacturing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your expertise in safety compliance, packaging, food production, labor control, quality, food safety, product quality, Canadian health and safety regulations, and Canadian food safety systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process, ensuring that our high standards of quality and safety are consistently met. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire production process to ensure that all products are produced efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
- Implement and maintain safety procedures in compliance with Canadian health and safety regulations.
- Manage all aspects of packaging and food production, ensuring that all products meet Canadian food safety
systems.
- Control labor costs and manage the production team to ensure all employees are working effectively and safely.
- Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure that all production goals are met.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Handle any production-related issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role within the Manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience with safety compliance, packaging, food production, labor control, quality, food safety,
product quality, Canadian health and safety regulations, and Canadian food safety systems.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with production-related software and technology.
- A degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in Canadian health and safety regulations and food safety systems is a plus.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed and a passion for excellence.
