Production Machine Operator - Food Manufacturing

For over 60 years, Super-Pufft has been in the snack food business. Over the past two decades since the business was purchased by new ownership, Super-Pufft has grown from a small popcorn factory to having 3 state-of-the-art SQF certified facilities across Canada. The new owners brought their previous manufacturing experience and entrepreneurial nature to Super-Pufft.

Just a few years after purchasing the company, new product lines were added, to extend the range and volume of snack food offerings. The company has always been in tune with the dynamic of demand and capacity, and continues to innovate market-winning products.

Production Machine Operator

Your seat at the best snacks table:

  • Set up and operate industrial food processing equipment
  • Follow precise recipes and work procedures, monitoring and adjusting processing variables
  • Perform product quality tests and data collection
  • Monitor fryer and oil temperatures to ensure proper temperatures are maintained for consistent product quality
  • Clean equipment and change slicing heads every hour to ensure standard slicing consistency

What you bring to the table

  • Manufacturing and/or warehouse experience is a plus
  • Ability to walk and stand for up to 12 hours
  • Manual dexterity to handle, feel, reach, and pull with hands, arms, and fingers
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds frequently, and pull up to 50 pounds

Note: You will be hired as a temporary employee through a third-party agency.

Applicants must be available to work all rotational shifts.
