Job description

This position is responsible for all phases of transforming raw material in finished products on the Roll Refine line. The Roll Refine Attendant ensures food and employee safety in their daily routine.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Enter recipe data and perform SAP and data entries according to the production schedule.
  • Adjust pre-refiner / refiner and conch temperatures according to recipe and customer specifications.
  • Add fat, flavors, and emulsifiers to conch or tanks as per recipes.
  • Pump product from conches to finished tanks following the production schedule.
  • Operate PLCs and perform quality checks.
  • Perform and document all HACCP, Quality, and Safety checks.
  • Conduct checks for fineness and track inventory, clean magnets, and document CCP.
  • Responsible for basic and preventative maintenance; report needed improvements.
  • Handle all line worker material functions and cover for Mixer Attendant as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the production room and follow the Sanitation Schedule.
  • Communicate production information for smooth shift transitions and coordinate with crew members, Lead Hand, and Shift Supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with all food and employee safety policies and procedures

About you :

  • High school diploma.
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment an asset.
  • Hoist Operator training.
  • Lift Truck certificate.
