Line Leader
Summary
Reporting to the Shift Leader and Operations Leader, the Line Leader - Production provides hands-on leadership during a production shift within the plant to ensure production schedules are met safely and on time in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead by example, fostering mutual respect and teamwork among team members.
- Conduct pre-shift huddles and provide feedback to team leaders.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and train team leaders and production crew on one or more production lines.
- Ensure production schedules are met and address any issues that arise.
- Coordinate department schedules, products, and manpower for smooth plant operations.
- Verify proper methods and procedures are followed, ensuring quality, safety, and environmental standards are maintained.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing company standards and conducting regular inspections.
- Assist in testing new equipment, methods, or products, and troubleshoot processes and equipment.
- Utilize the OMS system to help achieve production targets.
- Support the Shift Leader in meeting daily KPIs.
- Follow and enforce all GMPs and safety procedures outlined by FGF.
- Act as a backup to the Shift Leader when necessary.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support business needs.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (food/bakery experience preferred).
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and interact effectively with others.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, along with basic mathematical abilities.
- Ability to manage challenging situations and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work days, afternoons, nights, and weekends as needed.
- Working knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and OHS standards.
