Job summary

Piller's Fine Foods in Arthur, Ontario, is seeking a dedicated Production Line Supervisor to oversee daily operations on the packaging line. You will coordinate setup, supervise staff, and ensure adherence to production targets and quality standards.

Responsibilities include conducting quality checks, documenting materials in the ERP, addressing employee concerns with coaching, and maintaining food safety in compliance with OHSA.

Qualifications

• Conduct initial and hourly quality checks; verify lot and item numbers.
• Monitor line performance to meet production standards.
• Address employee concerns; provide coaching and monitor performance.
• Document all production materials used and line stoppages in the ERP system.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor adjustments.
• Assist team with line production and packaging area housekeeping.
• Lockout and restart equipment according to safety procedures.
• Maintain food safety standards and report issues to QA immediately.
• Work safely in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Responsible for maintaining food safety standards and reporting food safety issues to QA immediately.
• Work in a safe manner in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
