Job summary

Sika Canada is seeking a production line worker to operate the hand-add station, bag cement-based products, and perform packaging/storage duties on an industrial line. The role requires lifting up to 30 kg, working in dusty and loud conditions, and adhering to safety policies.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of manufacturing experience; forklift certification is an asset. Day and night shifts with possible overtime are available. Uniform provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Forklift certification is an asset.
• Self-motivated with the ability to perform duties to established standards.
• Effective communication with management and team leaders to meet production targets.
• Strong time-management skills to maintain production levels.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for commuting.

Responsibilities

• Operate the hand‑add station, using a digital scale to measure materials and ensure quality.
• Bag cement‑based products according to production and quality requirements.
• Manually stack product onto pallets and production lines.
• Safely operate a forklift for material handling and storage (where certified).
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and uphold plant housekeeping standards.
• Follow safety policies, PPE requirements, lock‑out, and confined‑space protocols.
• Report unsafe conditions, accidents, incidents, or near misses to management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
