Job summary

Pather Plastics Canada Inc in Markham, ON is seeking a General labourer – manufacturing who is self-motivated and has good interpersonal skills to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will sort, pack, crate, and package materials, assist machine operators, clean equipment and work areas, and help assemble parts.

The day shift runs 08:00 to 17:00, with a 40-hour week and a salary of 35,000 to 55,000 CAD, to be negotiated.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• No standard education requirements (bachelor’s degree not required).
• Experience is an asset.
• Able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• Punctual, dependable and able to work with initiative.
• Good oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in dusty and loud environments.
• Bondable.
• Own transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products.
• Assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers.
• Clean machines and immediate work areas.
• Assemble parts and components (screws, clips, glue, bonds, welds).
• Pack goods for shipping.
• Prepare items for shipping and distribution.
